In continuing to honor the life of a devoted flyer, the Captain John J. Sax Family Foundation serves to support those who choose to further their education, exploration and passion for flight dwelling within the hearts of future aviators and service within the United States of America. In doing so, they are lighting the way for others to embody the same courage and tenacity to “soar” just like Johnny did.
Aviators are our goal
As we honor John J. Sax, a dedicated and passionate pilot, our foundation is committed to raising funds to support the dreams of future aviators. John’s love for flying was matched only by his desire to see others succeed in the skies. By providing grants, training programs, and mentorship opportunities, we aim to remove financial barriers and open doors for aspiring pilots. Our goal is to cultivate the next generation of aviators who will soar to new heights, embodying the spirit and determination that John exemplified throughout his career. Through these efforts, we not only keep John’s memory alive but also inspire a new wave of pilots who will carry forward his legacy of excellence and dedication to aviation.

In honor of the late John J. Sax, our non-profit organization is hosting a series of events designed to unite our community and celebrate the values he held dear. John J. Sax was a beloved member of our community, soldier, father known for his unwavering dedication to helping others and his belief in the strength of collective action. Through these events, we aim to continue his legacy by fostering a sense of togetherness and mutual support among all who attend.
